An email went by recently from Idealware. The message touted A Practical Guide to Integrated Communications: A Workbook for Nonprofits. Interest piqued, I downloaded this free guide. It is excellent. I highly recommend any organization that communicates with constituents via multiple channels (Facebook, website, twitter, email, for example) download and use this guide. It is clearly written, and it contains worksheets to help you identify who is responsible for communicating what at your organization. It then guides you through setting up strategic, consistent (but not necessary exactly the same) messages and building a timeline for those messages.
