Need a Switch?

Some applications can be run with what are known as “switches.” ResultsPlus is such an application. Have you wanted to see the full descriptions of funds, campaigns, and appeals on the Executive Summary instead of the codes? You can. In order to do this, you must start ResultsPlus using a switch. You can create a shortcut and add the switch to your shortcut. The switch to tell ResultsPlus to display the full descriptions on the Executive Summary is “-i”. You can append the “-i” to the end of the path in your shortcut. Then, whenever you launch ResultsPlus from that shortcut, the full descriptions will display.  Here’s an example of how the path in the shortcut might look:

“C:\Program Files (x86)\Metafile Information Systems\ResultsPlus\Program\Results.exe” -i
